Located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Water Gap Lofts is a modern 24 bed sober living house situated on a quiet tree-lined street just two blocks from the charming and historic Main Street. The town of Stroudsburg is located in the beautiful Pocono Mountain region which is known for its grand resorts, golf courses and outdoor activities. A perfect place for a recovery house. Because of the unique location, the residents of Water Gap Lofts have access to plenty of employment opportunities that are in walking distance to the lofts. Additionally, if the resident has transportation, the Pocono region offers numerous career opportunities, especially in the hotel and restaurant industry. This sober living house has it all!
In order to be accepted as a resident at Water Gap Lofts individuals must demonstrate a healthy self-awareness and a level of personal responsibility. This is done through a phone, personal or video interview and letters of recommendations.
Additionally, all sober living applicants must undergo testing to verify Covid status. Once accepted, there is a $200 introduction fee, followed by a rental fee of $150 per week, double/triple occupancy. Single occupancy rooms have a separate rate. Call us for details.
Payments must be made by the first of each month and can be made via Venmo or Paypal.
Sober Living Houses are group homes designed for individuals recovering from alcoholism, substance use disorders or mental health diagnoses. Sober Living houses are focused on providing vital structure, support and fellowship to men and women who are ready to take the next step to independence.
Water Gap Lofts Sober Living House offers wrap-around services that combine peer support, mentorship and community engagement.

Residents are expected to maintain employment, uphold household responsibilities and engage in community service activities in order to maintain tenancy.
